Per-student spending is $24,070, with a student–teacher ratio of 16.4—favorable, but not the main explanation: the highest-spending nearby schools are not the highest performers. Overall, this is a top-quintile Oregon elementary school operating inside a bottom-half district, with two areas to watch: fifth-grade math and science.

Open Quote I love this elementary school. The teachers and staff seem to truly enjoy and care about their students. I love that the school teaches the kids self management, kindness and responsibility. Even though it is older than some of the newer elementarys in the area, the grounds are beautiful and well kept.
