Summary

Dorena School is a small, rural K–8 school at 37141 Row River Rd in Dorena, Oregon, serving roughly 100 students and making it one of the smallest schools in the South Lane School District 45J3.

Academically, the school's profile is sharply split. In English language arts, 39.4% of students met standards — better than the district's 32.9% and nearly matching Creslane Elementary School (39.3%), though below Oregon's 43.8%. Science is a genuine bright spot: 26.3% proficiency beats the district by nearly 10 points and ranks third in the comparison group, ahead of Bohemia Elementary School (15.6%), Harrison Elementary School (22.2%) and London School (14.3%).
