2025–2026 was Shasta's strongest year in a decade: it ranked 299th of 709 Oregon elementary schools (58th percentile, 3 stars), up from a run of 42nd–49th percentile finishes in the four prior years. In English language arts, 49.3% of students were proficient and in math 36.6% — both above the district averages (41.1 and 28.3) and above the state (43.8 and 32.9).
