ZIP code 73162 has four Putnam City schools: three elementary schools serving PK–5 and one high school serving grades 9–12. In 2025–2026, the elementary schools’ average proficiency was 36% in ELA I, 38% in math and 46% in science, compared with state results of 26%, 25% and 30%. Putnam City North High School was above state in ELA I but well below it in math and science. The most important finding is that the elementary schools were above state in all three subjects, while the high school had substantial math and science gaps.
Dennis Elementary School stands out for math and science, with 42% and 60% proficient; its science result was 19 points above the next-highest elementary school. Dennis and Harvest Hills Elementary School tied for the top elementary ELA I result at 41%, and Harvest Hills led third-grade ELA I at 60%.
