As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote My child has attended at a different school previous to attending here, and I was and am very involved and active in her education, participating in school functions, chapperoning field trips, frequently go up to visit the kids and have lunch time with them, and have to say that Mustang Trails is by far the biggest disappointment. The staff is very unpleasant, rude to not only parents, but display unacceptable adult behavior to the children. I have observed staff SCREAMING, not raising their voice but SCREAMING to the children! When school functions arise, parents are notified last minute with hardly any time to prepare, and on a few occasions we were not notified until the day before. They sure do want your money, be prepared to send money for so much! The impression was that, if you did not send said money with your child for said item/extracurricular function, your child would be set aside while other students partook. Obviously we all want the best for our kids and for them to be involved so you feel somewhat guilted into it. And know that their communication to raise money for PTA is on point, communication for testing dates, what the children are learning and what to work with them on is lacking, to say the least. It is no wonder, should you look at their stats, that their statewide testing scores are continuing to decline. Oh, and if your child comes home and says she had an "accident", it's because they assume he/she is playing in the restroom and will not let them go, and my child NEVER has accidents at home. About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
