Summary

Del City Elementary School serves 500 students in prekindergarten through fifth grade in Del City, within the Midwest City-Del City district. Its results are below district and state levels in every tested subject. In 2025–2026, students scored 9% in English Language Arts (ELA), 9% in math and 12% in science, compared with district scores of 17%, 16% and 19%, and state scores of 26%, 25% and 30%. The most important finding is that achievement is low across all three subjects, not just in one area.

This is the school where a first grade teacher's negligence was responsible for a 6 or 7 year old Native student being bullied to the extent that the bullies slashed off the boy's hair while the teacher was in the classroom doing "me time" on her computer. And not only was no action taken on it, she's still employed there! Close Quote
