Calvin, Oklahoma, has two schools serving preschool through grade 12: Calvin Elementary School (PK–8, 126 students) and Calvin High School (grades 9–12, 42 students). Their results show notably different experiences by school and subject, rather than one consistent area-wide pattern. The clearest difference is mathematics: in 2025–2026, elementary proficiency was 19 points above the state rate, while high-school proficiency was 19 points below it—a 38-point split between the schools.
