Piketon Junior/Senior High School is a public school in Piketon, Ohio, part of the Scioto Valley Local district. It serves grades 5–12, an unusual span locally since most nearby high schools serve only grades 9–12, and it enrolls 641 students, making it the largest traditional school in the surrounding comparison group.

Academically, Piketon has a split profile. American Government is a clear strength: 83.5% proficiency is above Ohio's 71.6% and higher than every nearby high school, including Northwest High School (80.2%) and Valley High School (77.3%). Fifth-grade science (74.4% vs. the state's 62.7%) is also strong. Math is the opposite story. Geometry proficiency is 20.2% against a state figure of 43.3%, and Algebra I is 48.4% versus 61.6% statewide. Middle-school math is weak too: 6th grade 36.6%, 7th grade 28.2%, and 8th grade 38.8%, all well below state averages. Its student-teacher ratio of 20.6 is higher than most nearby high schools. Subgroup results are uneven: Special Education students (40th percentile) and low-income students (31st percentile) rank above the school overall, but both fell sharply from 67th and 57th the prior year, and gifted and talented students dropped to the 10th percentile from 62nd.
