Trotwood-Madison High School is a public high school in the Trotwood-Madison City district in Trotwood, OH, serving grades 9–12 with about 840 students, making it larger than several nearby Dayton-area alternatives but smaller than Northmont High School and Miami Valley CTC. In 2025–2026, it ranked 640th of 795 Ohio high schools—19th percentile with 1 star—up from 11th percentile in 2021–2022 but still in the bottom quartile statewide.

Academically, Trotwood-Madison has some clear bright spots and major gaps. American Government is its standout: 77.2% proficient, above both the district (70%) and state (71.6%). It also generally outperforms nearby alternatives like Thurgood Marshall High School, Meadowdale High School, Horizon Science Academy Dayton High School, Gem City Career Prep High School, and Five Rivers Career Prep High School in most tested subjects and graduation. But Northmont High School remains far ahead—86% in Government, 83.5% in History, 81.1% in Biology, 72% in English II, 56.8% in Geometry, and 55.6% in Algebra I.
