Sylvania Timberstone Junior High School is a grades 6–8 school at 9000 Sylvania Ave in Sylvania, Ohio — a suburban community in Lucas County near Toledo — and with 607 students it is the largest of the three junior highs in Sylvania Schools. In 2025-2026 it ranked 228th of 1,046 Ohio middle schools (78th percentile, 4 stars), placing it comfortably in the state's top quartile.

Its strengths are real and consistent. Every subject and grade tested above the state average, with science and English language arts leading: 8th grade science was 80.6% proficient, about 19 points above Ohio, and 6th grade ELA was 77.5%, roughly 21 points above.
