Stiles is the lowest-ranked of its closest same-district peers — West Franklin Elementary School, Prairie Lincoln Elementary School, Prairie Norton Elementary School, and Darby Woods Elementary School — which serve similar grades and enrollment sizes but rank between the 17th and 38th percentiles. Compared with other nearby schools, Stiles generally outperforms Sullivant Avenue Community School and Eakin Elementary School but trails Westside Academy and Georgian Heights Alt Elementary School in some grades. Because staffing and funding are not obviously worse than nearby same-district schools, the biggest opportunities appear to be in instruction, attendance, and targeted support.
