As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote My experience with Thomas Ewing has been great! My son has attended this school in 6th and 7th grades and is currently in his 8th grade year. His teachers have been positive and really work to keep their students motivated to learn. I also have the utmost respect for the principal and the dean of students. They both truly care for and about their student body. Thank you for all you've done!! Close Quote

Open Quote I pulled my child out of this School District.
Here is a child that loves to go to school but, all of the sudden doesn't want to go? It was clear that Dean of Students, was bullying my child and that my child was not the only one being subjected to the abuse.
What really finally confirm this, was when I complained about my child being hit by a teacher, I was subject to the same bully tactics, rude, nasty and that "my child is a liar".
But, I well tell you the saddest thing, a few months ago, I over heard my child talking to a friend from the old school and he asking,"who is this years targets"?, He knew/knows what is going on is wrong-
My child is happy go lucky again and loving his new school Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
