Ridgedale Local is a small Ohio district of about 621 students served by just two schools — Ridgedale Elementary School (grades PK–5, 306 students) and Ridgedale Junior/Senior High School (grades 6–12, 315 students) — with no separate middle school, so the 6–12 building carries the middle-grade results. The district is rated 547 of 773 statewide, 29th percentile, 1 star.
The two schools have very different strengths. Ridgedale Junior/Senior High School performs above the state in American History (84.8% vs 73.2%), English II (69.8% vs 62.7%), American Government (75.4% vs 71.6%) and Biology (70.6% vs 67.0%), and posts a 100% graduation rate. But it lags badly in Geometry (20.8% vs 43.3%) and in middle-grade math and ELA, where 6th and 7th grade scores trail the state by roughly 18–20 points.
