Riverside Local is a small Ohio district with just two schools — Riverside Elementary School, serving grades PK–6 with 327 students, and Riverside High School, serving grades 7–12 with 260 students — for a combined enrollment of about 587, with the district rated 2 stars and sitting at the 44th percentile among Ohio districts.
Riverside Elementary School is the district's bright spot. It earned 3 stars in each of the last three years and climbed from the 54th to the 61st percentile in state rankings. In 2025–2026 it scored above the state in 8 of 9 reported test areas, with math especially strong in 3rd through 6th grades, and its chronic absenteeism rate of 12.7% is below the district's 15.7%.
