Riverdale Local is a small district in the Mt Blanchard area of Ohio serving 947 students across four schools: two elementaries covering grades K-2 and 3-5, one middle school for grades 6-8, and one high school for grades 9-12, all located at the same State Route 37 address. The district ranks 448 out of 773 Ohio districts, in the 42nd percentile with 2 stars.

Riverdale Elementary School (grades 3-5) is the clear standout: it is the only school with 3 stars in 2025-2026 and has held 3-star rankings for three straight years (55th percentile now). It also has the district's lowest chronic absenteeism at 7.5% (versus 16.2% district-wide) and the lowest student-teacher ratio at 15.7, with 3rd and 4th grade math and ELA well above state averages — though its 5th grade math, ELA, and science fall below state.
