Open Quote STARS is not an average school. The STREAM curriculum has an emphasis on science, technology, religion, engineering, arts, and mathematics but each is integrated into all the subject areas so they are teaching relevant real-life things. I doubt any student asks their teacher why they need to know something because it is woven into the lessons. The school culture is one where respect for others and oneself is standard. Citizenship is also demonstrated with monthly community service projects and a special Veteran's Day ceremony. Sports are offered to students starting in Pre-K. Close Quote
