Open Quote From the moment we went on our first tour of the Greene Hill School, the staff made Matt and our family feel welcome. We learned about Greene Hill's Middle School Program after our son had graduated from 5th grade through a chance run-in with a neighbor and former educator with 30+ years of experience in NYC schools.

Our neighbor, an Educational Consultant, highly recommended Greene Hill! Since we were not able to tour the school while school was in session and observe what the day to day culture and environment in the school was like, Laurie, the Middle School Director, arranged for some 5th grade students who would be moving up to 6th grade and some of the 6th grade teachers to come in and meet with Matt.

On the day of Matt's visit with the Greene Hill students, they played some board games, chatted and ate pizza. When I went to pick Matt up after his meet-up with the Greene Hill students, he greeted me with a big smile on his face and eagerly asked, "Mom, can I go to this school?"

A year later, our family feels like we won the Middle School Lottery: A chance meeting, lead to a wonderful opportunity and a happy 6th grader who loves his school community and looks forward to learning and collaborating with his peers and teachers everyday! Close Quote
