Open Quote After two years in the toddler program at Hudson Country Montessori School, I can say without hesitation that I cannot recommend this school enough for families considering a Montessori environment. My child's growth has been remarkable. Within the first week of starting at 18 months, our child was reciting ABCs. Now she speaks in full, complex sentences and engages with the world around her with a curiosity and confidence that genuinely surprises me. That kind of development is the direct result of an environment that is intentional, nurturing, and committed to each child's individual journey.
What distinguishes Hudson Country Montessori from other programs is the culture and the fact that they are actually an accredited Montessori school. My daughter is not just known by her classroom teachers. She is known by the entire faculty. Administrators, staff across the school understand her personality and clearly care about her as an individual. Close Quote

Open Quote We've had a wonderful 3+ years in the Hudson Toddler/Primary program for my two boys. They have developed socially, emotionally and academically by being fulltime students at Hudson. We love the staff and also enjoy the Summer Camp program. We love the flexibility of the hours that meet the needs of our family and the after school HEP program! Close Quote

Open Quote We had such a wonderful experience with the toddler program at Hudson Country Montessori. Two of my children attended, and I can honestly say it was an incredibly special place for our family.

The teachers are nurturing, attentive, and truly dedicated to each child’s development. They create a warm, supportive environment where children feel safe, confident, and excited to learn. I loved seeing how much my children grew—both socially and independently—during their time there.

The Montessori approach is thoughtfully implemented, encouraging curiosity, independence, and a love of learning from such a young age. We are so grateful for the care and guidance our children received and would highly recommend this program to any family. Close Quote

Open Quote We have two children currently enrolled at Hudson, one in the toddler program and one in primary, and we have been part of the Hudson community for almost 4 years now.
We’ve been both impressed and grateful over the years with the education our children have received, even at such young ages they are growing and learning so much.
Mrs. Cindy who leads one of the toddler classes and Mrs. Perera and Ms. Ruiz who lead one of the primary classes have so much knowledge of the Montessori method.
They are gentle, attentive and patient with each kid and they’ve created such a warm learning environment.
We also love the diversity and that the children are being exposed to and learning about different cultures and religions through different classroom celebrations and/or parent presentations.
The teachers and staff we’ve had the pleasure of getting to know and our children have had the pleasure of learning from are truly incredible. Close Quote

Open Quote Both our children attend Hudson Country Montessori and we have absolutely loved our experience there. When looking for a school for our children, we toured many in the area and ultimately felt HCMS was the best fit for our family. We have seen our children thrive and grown tremendously since they started attending. All the teachers and staff are truly amazing and attentive. There is also a wonderful sense of community at Hudson and families are encouraged to play an active role. It can be hard to as parents to entrust the care of your children in others but we truly have never had to worry while our kids are at Hudson. They absolutely love it there and we know they are in the best hands. Close Quote

Open Quote I have been working at the New Rochelle campus for over 10 years, and my experience has been positive. From the beginning, I felt supported by the administration and was given numerous opportunities for personal and professional growth. What started as a temporary role during a year off from college transformed into a fulfilling career path. The school has been instrumental in my development, generously sponsoring my education and helping me obtain my Montessori certification and a Bachelor's degree. I'm truly grateful to be part of such a nurturing and growth-oriented community. Close Quote

Open Quote We moved our daughter to Hudson Country Montessori Elementary Program after her old elementary school left her bored and unchallenged. She’s always been a curious kid, but we started to see her lose interest in learning—and that was a big red flag for us.

Since starting at Hudson, we’ve seen a huge shift. She’s engaged again, excited to share what she’s working on, and learning how to manage her time more independently. The small class sizes and personalized attention make a real difference. She’s challenged, but not overwhelmed, and she’s gaining real-world skills that go beyond just academics.

We’ve also appreciated how calm and thoughtful the school environment is. There’s no pressure to fit in or rush through material—just a genuine focus on helping each child grow. We only wish we had made the switch sooner!

If you are looking for a school where your child will thrive and be able to excel, I highly recommend! Close Quote
