Open Quote My child goes to this school. I honestly love the school itself, it feels safe, the kids are great. She loves her school and I can tell that she also likes her classmates. I wish they challenged the students more and were more progressive. I really have a problem with at least two of her teachers, just concerned with some of the comments and ideas. As well as them not challenging her enough.Sometimes I feel like they do the absolute bare minimum. The ELA teacher is absolutely wonderful, love her and her math and science teacher. Close Quote

Open Quote This was once an excellent school but unfortunately it has dropped in everything. They claim it is nothing but the best, the curriculum is not great at all. They only have one teacher per classroom even though the child to teacher ratio has grown due to the closing of near by schools. The facilities are not has upto date or clean as they claim, since they only have one janitor/porter/school attendant who sometimes plays the role of security. Saying that the safety of the school is not good at al, they monitor the entrance by a camara which is monitored by the office staff, whom get busy 98% of the time so therefore does not monitor the camara screen and entrance, since it is only one staff member in the office.. They have one elevator which is basically a private access for the principal whom only takes the elevator due to the amount of stairs needed to take to access each floor. Unfortunately, this new principal will bring this school to its end!!! Please reconsider enrolling here, due plenty of research and don't be afraid to ask parents!!! Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
