Despite spending more per student than the district average, Atlas High School consistently ranks in the bottom quartile of New York high schools, with particularly low proficiency rates in science subjects like Chemistry (10.34%), Earth Science (0%), and Physics (0%). The school's 4-year graduation rate has fluctuated between 72.8% and 84.7% over the past 3 years, which is below the district and state averages, and its dropout rate has ranged from 3.4% to 8.2% during the same period, higher than the district and state. Open Quote I graduated from there in 2014 with honors. The school and teachers are good, but the is the student choice if they want to succeed or not. Tomato of the teachers care about you and consider your situation in every aspect. The teachers are always there to help you but this has to start with the student in order to be better academically.
