Open Quote I believe the school wants to head in the best direction under the new administration. However, there are issues with bullying and students who are constantly in the hallways. There needs to be more effort put into social emotional awareness as well as REAL consequences for students who are not attending classes. Unhappy students cannot perform well and students who do not attend cannot show their potential. I have looked at the data and in terms of district and state 266 is still not meeting any. I believe that there are some great teachers here, but others who could do better. With that said parent accountability is also a factor and contributes to a child's success. Close Quote

Open Quote This rating system is ridiculous. We have an incredible school that meets the various needs of all of our students. We offer a wide array of activities to nurture the whole student. We have an amazing music program with band, orchestra, choir and rock band. We also offer French and Foreign language. Our school is part of ongoing STEM programs including the Billion Oyster project as well as robotics and computer programming. We have teachers who truly care about the well-being of their students and administrators and support staff who consistently go above and beyond. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio
Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
