Open Quote We joined in Jan 2018 and was meet by the owner of the school and told of how loving and supportive the school is. That couldn't be further from the truth. My child's IEP was not addressed for almost a month after starting the at the school. Those who write large donation checks children can do know wrong. The lack of diversity at the school and how minority children are isolated at the school is alarming. Teacher's talking to other teachers openly laughing about the child IEP is alarming. Emails to staff go without a response back.

To pay $9,000 for such a non christian like atmosphere is not worth it.... There are better schools. Close Quote

Open Quote LMCA is a hidden gem in the Henderson Valley. There are so many wonderful things about the school that make it unique. I read a few of the negative posts on this site and the facts are not correct. One of the things our family loves most about LMCA is that it accepts kids that are not Christians. They are there to minister to ALL kids and of ALL ages. Is it a perfect school? No, but it is an amazing school!!! The Alumni go off to college and after graduation they return to teach and serve in the ministry they love. I suggest you go to LMCA for a tour and make your own opinion about the school. See it in action, meet the wonderful staff, teachers and even observe the students. This school is not about the money, yes there are cost and expenses that every private school has but the staff is there to serve God. My kids never stepped foot in public school, I have seen parents who made the decision to let there kids go to public school but I have also seen them come back per their child's request. It is far from a "typical school", both of my kids are in college and doing extremely well and were very prepared for college. They also prepared them to defend their faith in the world. Open Quote Both of my children have been attending LMCA for 4+ years and love it. We have had very positive experiences with the teachers. They genuinely care about their students. We've been very pleased with the religious education and the chapel speakers are not only educated and passionate, but make chapel a fun place to be. Many talented students attend there and their character still amazes me. It's so encouraging to see so many young people with hearts like theirs in one place. The Apple one-to-one program has been great. Also, the fine arts program has been developing over recent years and they have put on some top notch performances. Sports are available and I hope to see that continue to develop. The athletic director has been an asset to the school. Also love the missions focus and the opportunities for the students to reach out to local and global communities. Close Quote

Open Quote I love LMCA I have had my daughter in Christian education for 11 years. This school offers so much to my daughter. The most important thing is their love for the Word of God. I cannot say enough about the staff and their commitment to the students and families. I do not think any school is a perfect school but I do think LMCA works hard to great. I know my daughter will a better person for attending there. I am so blessed that LMCA has been serving the Henderson area for 20 years. I recommend it hands down to any other school out there. When they brought in the 1 to 1 Apple Laptop program I think it made them the first cutting edge school in the State of Nevada. Great move!!! Close Quote
