Open Quote Faith Lutheran is the preeminent faith-based school in Nevada, and one of the finest in the state for overall academic performance, athletic success and college preparatory academies and honors programs. For the value, and for equipping students to be ready for college and to be tomorrow's leaders, no other school in Nevada comes close to Faith Lutheran. Close Quote

Open Quote I attended Faith Lutheran Jr/Sr High School for my 6th Grade year and it was absurd. I thought I was going to be in a good(educational)school but it was more like church all day long. I didn't learn anything at Faith except from my teachers: Mrs. Hazen and Mrs. Castens. Both of those two teachers were the only reason I stayed there all year. Also, the schedule I received for my 7th Grade year there, (which did not happen) was all messed up because I didn't get into any of the classes or electives I registered for. If you are considering going to Faith Lutheran Jr/Sr High School please reconsider your zoned public school. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
