Open Quote This school is litigious. God help you if you move midway through the year, or find their quarantine-period education subpar, and wish to stop paying. Brookfield has an inexperienced principal who last year replaced their valuable, experienced teachers with newbies learning-as-they-go. You'll find yourself nickled and dimed with extra expenses, from aftercare roundings (always in favor of the school) to materials fees that continue even while the school is closed. Close Quote

Open Quote The administration at Brookfield is short sighted and narrow minded at this for profit school. I have one child at the school and there are some really good but very underpaid teachers. At the end of the school year they did not renew the contract of one of their most creative and energetic teachers. The only reason parents can see for this termination is that they felt threatened by a teacher that was raising the bar for the school. Close Quote

Open Quote Brookfield is a challenging school with well qualified teachers and small class sizes. The school and the teachers care about the children and their success. It is a small school so informed parents can stay up-to-date about their children's behavior and academic success. Close Quote

Open Quote We love the school. Our girls have gone to the school since Pre-school and are excited to go to school. The teachers are great and the class sizes are terrific. They get a lot of personal attention. Each classroom has smart boards and new computers. The school is very focused on reading, writing and math. The children also learn french, computers and science.
Test scores are in the top 95% of the country. It is a close-knit school and everyone watches out for each others children. I have recommended Brookfield to many friends and would continue to recommend it. Close Quote

Open Quote The worst decision I have ever made for my child. I will always regret that I have wasted my child's education, safety, and time because of this school's ridiculous inadequacies. The administration is never there, which creates chaos. There is no consistent discipline which makes it hard for teachers to do their jobs. They NEVER contact me whenever there is an issue. They are not qualified to run a school. I could probably write a novel about why this is a bad choice. Please use this information to your advantage, do not make the same mistake we did. About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
