West Las Vegas High School

West Las Vegas High School is a comprehensive public high school serving 442 students in grades 9–12 on Moreno Street in Las Vegas, New Mexico, and it is both the largest campus in its immediate comparison set and the only grade 9–12 school in West Las Vegas Public Schools. Every student has been eligible for free or reduced-price lunch in each of the last three years, a figure consistent with a universal eligibility designation rather than a precise poverty rate, and both nearby schools report the same 100%. Classes have gotten meaningfully smaller, with students per teacher falling from 15.4 to 13.1 — roughly a 15% reduction in two years.
