ZIP code 08620 has three elementary schools in Hamilton Township Public School District: Yardville Elementary School and Yardville Heights Elementary School serve prekindergarten through grade 5, while Sunnybrae Elementary School serves kindergarten through grade 5. In 2025–2026, the three-school averages were 55% in ELA and 52% in math, compared with state averages of 49% and 47%; grade 5 science averaged 25%, below the state’s 27%. The area’s overall results are stronger than the state’s in ELA and math, but not in science.

Yardville Heights led in ELA, averaging 64% across grades 3–5, just 2 percentage points ahead of Yardville at 62%; Sunnybrae averaged 38%. Yardville was the clear math leader at 71%, compared with 51% at Heights and 34% at Sunnybrae. Science results were lower: Yardville scored 31%, Heights 30%, and Sunnybrae 15%, against the state’s 27%. SchoolDigger’s statewide percentile rankings rose from 64 to 75 for Yardville and 46 to 63 for Heights between 2023–2024 and 2025–2026; Sunnybrae moved from 30 to 29. For additional context, 2024–2025 free/reduced lunch eligible shares were 22% at Yardville, 44% at Sunnybrae, and 60% at Heights; student-teacher ratios were 14.1, 11.1, and 10.7, respectively. These are differences among school-level measures, not evidence that one explains another.
