Summary:

Zip code 08022 has four schools serving grades PK–12: John Hydock Elementary School (PK–2), Mansfield Township Elementary School (3–6), Northern Burlington County Regional Middle School (7–8) and Northern Burlington County Regional High School (9–12). The schools’ reported 2025–26 results are generally above state results, but the margins vary by grade and subject. Most importantly, all reported grade-level ELA, general-math and science results were above the state, while the high school’s Algebra I End-of-Course result was below it.

Mansfield Township Elementary stands out for consistently strong results across its tested grades: its average state-relative gap was 21 points in ELA and 27 in math, and it was 11 points above the state in grade 5 science. The middle school also performed well, averaging 13 points above the state in ELA and 24 in math, though its grade 8 science result was just 3 points above. The clearest shared-test contrast is Algebra I End of Course: the middle school scored 84%, compared with 31% at the high school, a 53-point difference. Those results were 44 points above and 9 below the state, respectively. The high school’s grade 9 results were a brighter spot, exceeding state results by 11 points in ELA, 9 in Algebra I and 17 in Geometry.

Matched results moved further above the state in ELA and general math, but not science: average gaps rose from 12 to 17 points in ELA and 23 to 26 in math, while the science gap narrowed from 11 to 7 points. SchoolDigger percentiles also rose from 2023–24 to 2025–26: middle school from 65 to 79, high school from 64 to 74, and Mansfield from 82 to 84. In 2024–25, student–teacher ratios ranged from 9.4 at Mansfield to 12.2 at the middle school. Free/reduced lunch eligible figures that year were 12% at Mansfield and John Hydock, 17% at the middle school and 16% at the high school. These figures offer context, not an explanation for results; the schools mostly serve different grades, so most test results are not direct school-to-school comparisons.
