Sage Day At Rochelle Park

Our experience with Sage Rochelle Park has been deeply traumatic. The way the school handled our situation shattered my child’s trust in mental health counseling and the institutions meant to protect and support her. Instead of feeling safe, she was left feeling abandoned and betrayed. The emotional toll on our family has been immense. My child remains devastated and we feel it was a targeted persecution that was nothing less than cruel. I believe this school’s actions only exacerbated her struggles, creating a deep sense of betrayal and fear that she may carry with her for a long time.

My child and I put so much trust in her counselor and it will take a lifetime to heal from the betrayal we experienced. It is so raw and painful that I tear up every time I think of it. Rather than support my child, the administration seemed to set her up to fail, looking for reasons to push her out instead of helping her succeed. In my view, the director seemed more frustrated and challenged by my daughter than supportive in helping her.

There has not been one professional that I have spoken to that has not denounced this school's actions.
If your child is struggling, I do not feel this is a safe environment to place them.
