Gateway provides a wonderful, nurturing environment for students with cognitive and behavioral challenges. The staff and administration are very dedicated and caring, and help each student to feel valued. Students are helped to develop strengths and interests through a wide variety of activities, including Special Olympics, music productions that take place several times a year, art shows, swimming lessons, computers, community-based instruction, etc. Academics, counseling, nursing, recreational activities, behavioral interventions, and administration are all excellent. Students who have difficulty succeeding in other settings can thrive here and feel positively about themselves as students. Close Quote
