The Harrison Township School District in New Jersey is home to two strong-performing schools: Harrison Township Elementary School and Pleasant Valley School. Both schools demonstrate exceptional academic achievement, with consistently high test scores that exceed state averages in English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics.

Harrison Township Elementary School is ranked 310 out of 1,347 New Jersey elementary schools and has a 4-star rating from SchoolDigger. In the 2024-2025 school year, 59.3% of 3rd graders were proficient or better in ELA, and 70.1% were proficient or better in Math. Pleasant Valley School, a middle school, also boasts impressive test scores, with 73.7% of 4th graders, 72.1% of 5th graders, and 72.7% of 6th graders proficient or better in ELA.
