Pelham High School is a public grades 9–12 school serving about 508 students in the suburban town of Pelham, New Hampshire, near Nashua and the Massachusetts border. The school is part of the Pelham School District and offers a relatively small-school environment with a 10.3-to-1 student-teacher ratio. Pelham’s current statewide ranking—62nd of 89 New Hampshire high schools, or about the 30th percentile—has declined from the middle of the state rankings several years ago. Because rankings can vary from year to year, the longer-term decline is more meaningful than any single result.

Pelham’s academic results are mixed by subject. Reading is a clear strength: 61% of students were proficient, compared with 55% statewide, and results have remained near 60% in recent years.
