Warrenton Elementary is a PK–6 elementary school in Vicksburg, MS, serving 311 students in the Vicksburg Warren School District, a mid-tier Mississippi district ranked 67th of 134 districts. Like nearly every school in the district, Warrenton serves a high-poverty student body — 100% of students qualify for free/reduced lunch — and it sits in the middle of a highly uneven set of nearby schools. It clearly outperforms lower-performing schools like South Park Elementary and Warren Central Intermediate, but trails top performers like Bovina Elementary and Bowmar Avenue.

Warrenton's clearest academic strength is 3rd grade math: in 2024-2025, 73.6% of Warrenton 3rd graders were proficient in math, more than 30 percentage points above the district average.
