The Enterprise School District in Mississippi serves 918 students across three schools — Enterprise Elementary (PK–4), Enterprise Middle School (5–8), and Enterprise High School (9–12) — and ranks 5th out of 134 districts in the state, earning a 5-star rating.

Parents will find a district where every school outperforms state averages, but Enterprise High School is the clear standout. It ranks #9 in Mississippi for 2025–2026 (after being #2 the previous year) and graduates 96.2% of students, well above the state's 89.2%. Its end-of-course scores are excellent: 86.9% proficient in biology, 82.8% in Algebra I, and 70.9% in English II. Enterprise Elementary shines in early math, with 88.5% of 4th graders proficient versus 51.5% statewide, and also posts strong 4th grade ELA scores. Enterprise Middle School excels in math and science, including 87.7% proficiency in 7th grade math and 90.3% in 5th grade science, though its ELA results are more uneven.

Math is clearly the district's superpower across all grade levels, and low student–teacher ratios — as low as 8.3 at the high school — plus chronic absenteeism far below the state average support student success. Still, there are a few areas to watch. Enterprise Elementary saw a 19.7-point drop in 3rd grade ELA proficiency, from 77.5% to 57.8%. Enterprise Middle School 6th grade ELA also slipped to 44.3%, below the state average, even as 7th grade jumped by 23.3 points. Meanwhile, Enterprise High School remains elite despite slight declines in Algebra I and English II. Overall, this is a high-performing district with strong graduation rates, excellent math instruction, and a few literacy dips that are worth monitoring.
