As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote Great school! Close Quote

Open Quote I moved to this area so that my son when starting kindergarten would be in a good ranking school, and that he would receive an excellent education. This all looks good on paper. If you and your child are able to conform or you are a more fortunate family, all is good. being different, having individualism is not desired. If this is the case, they are unwilling to look at certain issues the child is having. And chalk it up to they have a hard time with their work and that makes them act out. My child has been bullied since the beginning of this school year. Picked on and blamed for things he hasn't done. But they never believe my child or believe me, that he is acting out because of the way he is treated by the students and the staff. The one time he did stand up for himself. He was the one that was punished, not the other 3 boys that were harassing him in the bathroom. Social services was called and they went and talked to my 1st grader, without my knowledge. When I became aware about the social worker that evening when my son was telling me that someone came to talk to him. I contacted his teacher and the office, but no one had any knowledge of such a visit. In fact, it was four days before the school counselor called me about the incident and she also had no knowledge about DFS. It took 4 days for this school to tell me what happened and I don't believe they would have if I hadn't started poking around. We are still having issues and they still blame it on my son when he acts out. He cries about having to go there. The terrible things other kids say to him, but they are never punished. He hates it!!! I am currently looking for a new home due to the fact that the good education I thought he would receive, is not going to be possible for him in that environment, where he's always worried about what other kids and the staff are going to say or do. That he gets in trouble due to the fact that he gets off task on the work or isn't paying attention. If it was that hard, he wouldn't be able to do it at home. Which there has not been that problem, which I have also made them aware of. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
