As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote This has been an awful experience compared the positive one we had with Westview Elementary. The teaching staff could care less about the students. They do not reply to emails from parents asking for support or direction in how to help child. Everything is on the damn iPad, my son’s scores have regressed he was above average while at Westview and now is testing below. He didn’t get less smart, he isn’t being taught. He feels like his teachers don’t care. The only one he feels connection with is the PE teacher. And his Health teacher talks about hangovers, how it is okay to drink to reduce stress and that steroids are also alright as long as you stop when your “ding-ding” shrinks-exact statement my child said he heard in class. The principal is rude not only to parents but children as well. We are moving this summer so further damage is not done to my child’s education. Close Quote

Open Quote Teachers have no ability to discipline egregious student behavior, no support from senior administrative staff. Lack of focus on basic building blocks for educational learning/study and appears the administration is concerned with "ratings" rather than student learning. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
