Open Quote My child is in 1st grade. Educationally this school is fine. However, with regards to everything else, I would not recommend. My child has had 3 bullies in the class who have gone after my child and one other child in the class. Interestingly enough, both victims are minorities. My child has been hit, kicked, pushed, called stupid, heard comments about her skin color, hair texture and the final straw spit on in the face and humiliated when teacher didn't even help her clean up her face. Most of the the issues come from a child who has a parent on staff so clearly there is a lot of privilege there. The principal is new and if your not in his click, he would just as soon as walk past you and ignore you. The only reason he knows me is because I wanted something done about my child being bullied. Sadly, he and teacher "talked" all school year to the children and their parents and nothing was done. The other bully after 5 months was finally put on a behavior incentive plan to decrease their behaviors, but it was 5 months too late. The principal is extremely inexperienced as is the teacher, doesn't know what he is doing and doesn't appear to really care he is the typical passive aggressive Minnesota nice at best and doesn't want to make waves no matter how much harm is coming to the victim. I had enrolled my child here because I thought she would have at least one year with the previous principal and I liked him. He would not have put up with any of this garbage. Sadly, they didn't tell me he retired until after I paid the tuition. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
