Open Quote Wholly inept. Decidedly incompetent. Not a healthy environment for children. Maria Montessori would not recognize MSD as anything that even resembles her institution. Gravely disappointed. Close Quote

Open Quote My three-year-old daughter loves going to the Montessori School of Duluth. Every morning she talks about her friends and her classroom and the teacher and the activities she does there. In the afternoon, when I pick her up, she often says she wants to stay. Having her spend her days at a place she loves so much, fills my heart with joy.

The staff at the school are great! The building, classrooms and grounds are outstanding. Hunter's Park, the neighborhood it's in, is a beautiful, tree-lined residential area close to parks and the forest--perfect and safe for the children's outings. The parent community at the school is fantastic! We have met such great families and made such good friends. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
