First, only 4.69% of Gate students qualified for free/reduced lunch in 2024–2025 — lower than every nearby school, including Falcon View Online Elementary (47.73%) and New Heights Elementary School (53.85%), though Gate also outperforms low-poverty peers such as St. Croix Prep (11.33%) and Stonebridge (12.38%). Second, its reported 64:1 student-teacher ratio is far outside the 8.6 to 17.4 range of nearby schools and likely reflects a specialized staffing model or reporting difference rather than a typical classroom ratio. With only grades 4–5 and a very small cohort, science scores have also drifted from 100% in 2022–2023 to 85.7% in 2025–2026 — still more than double the state average.
