Summary

Bethune Elementary is a PK–5 neighborhood school with 213 students at 919 Emerson Ave N in north Minneapolis, part of the Minneapolis Public School District, and it sits in one of the densest clusters of elementary options in the city — four other district elementaries and five charter or alternative programs are within about 1.4 miles. Its most defining fact is consistency at the bottom: Bethune has ranked in the bottom 1–2% of Minnesota elementary schools for ten consecutive reporting years, earning a 0-star rating every single year.
