Summary

Lester Prairie Secondary is a small, rural grade 7–12 school serving 222 students at 131 Hickory St N in Lester Prairie, Minnesota, and it is effectively the entire secondary system of the Lester Prairie Public School District — its graduation, dropout, and most test numbers are identical to the district's.

The headline is that this is a school that gets students across the finish line. In 2024–2025 it posted a 100% graduation rate and a 0% dropout rate, well above the state's 84.9% and 4.2%, and ahead of every traditional high school nearby, including Watertown Mayer High (90.4%), Central Senior High (94.1%), Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted Sec. (95.0%), and Glencoe-Silver Lake Senior High (96.0%). One caution: dropout spiked to 11.7% two years earlier, so the recent trend is strong but not perfectly smooth.
