Open Quote I have two children that are Westwoods alumni. They had an excellent elementary experience. From social environment to academics, they were prepared for the next level at all times. They were taught by well-educated, enthusiastic teachers. I am proud to say that they were challenged with positive outcomes. They are well-rounded, socially, academically, athletically, artistically. And, they will very soon be a doctor and a lawyer. I am proud, and I am biased about my children, however, I am also an employee of Westwoods Elementary, and I see the same type of students still walking through the doors of Westwoods every day. About Student-Teacher Ratio
Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
