Open Quote it is impossible to establish any kind of relationship with the school or the district. i thought a school was supposed to work WITH parents for a childs education... at every turn, when i challenge that the school might improve their services to my family (nothing big... things like asking that my daughter wear her glasses)i am treated like i am a moron. recently i asked that the school evaluate my daughter for speech services. as part of my request, i let them know i noticed her tongue protruded more than it used to. now in her file, it says basically... the mother doesnt know what she is talking about, this childs tongue isnt getting worse... kind of hard to detrmine that when they hadnt ever seen her tongue before, right? About Student-Teacher Ratio
Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
