Twin Lake School is a small, rural elementary school in Twin Lake, MI, serving 205 students in grades PK through 4 as part of the Reeths-Puffer Schools district.

Recent test scores show a sharp, one-year drop that parents should know about. In the 2025-2026 school year, 3rd-grade reading proficiency fell from 48.5% to 23.1%, and math fell from 51.5% to 25%. This is a significant decline that appears specific to the current 3rd-grade class rather than a school-wide problem.
