Open Quote Classes are very large...most of them with over 32 kids per class. They have to share lockers, due to over crowding. Advanced students are not challenged..they are forced to sit there all day without anything to do. They eliminated the gifted program a couple of years ago. After school clubs are not supported by the teachers...there are 4 teachers that will do something, all the rest are too busy with their own lives to help create a better school. Bullying is a huge problem at this school. Though teachers try, the bullies are very clever and keep it below the radar....so if the teacher does not see it, nothing can be done about it. About Student-Teacher Ratio
Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
