I am disappointed with our experience at East Middle School, particularly regarding special education and student support. The special education program lacks consistency, structure, and follow-through, and students who need services are not receiving the support necessary to succeed. Many staff members seem overwhelmed or disengaged, which leaves students struggling without guidance.

Communication with administration has also been frustrating. Instead of solving problems, concerns are often redirected or dismissed, giving the impression that avoiding accountability is a higher priority than finding real solutions.

Additionally, the cafeteria food is consistently poor in quality, and students often say it is unappetizing.

East Middle has potential, but meaningful change requires honest evaluation, better support for special education, improved communication, and leadership willing to address problems directly rather than pass the responsibility elsewhere. Close Quote
