One would think that a Montessori school would be accommodating to children with disabilities, however this is not the case for this Montessori school. Our experience was horrifying, and from reading reviews other parents have had similar experiences. Please educate yourself and review the child care licensing complaints and violations against this school, the child care is run by the administration and the behaviors are similar. As of June 2017 the Special Education Director was not approved as a Special Education Supervisor in the State of Michigan. Other reviews have indicated that the school administration has offered prizes/rewards for positive online reviews, so take the positive reviews with a grain of salt. This school actively attempted to discourage me from enrolling my child because of his disabilities even though it is considered a public school. Close Quote

Four Corners is a wonderful montessori school. My child was proud to graduate and sad to leave. The community at Four Corners is outstanding. The children learn to be leaders in the world not followers! Close Quote

I have 2 children who attend this school, and a third that will be entering kindergarten in the fall. If you are looking for a smaller school with wonderful parents and families, go check it out. Keep in mind that Montessori isn't for everyone. Kids don't get regular grades, much of their learning is self-directed, but for bright kids, the sky is the limit. Your child will not be bored here. Your quirky kid will fit in here. If you have an "alternative-looking" family you will be embraced here. The school is culturally, socioeconomically, and racially diverse. They still do some standardized testing, but they don't beat the kids over the head with it. This school is creating out-of-the-box thinkers and self-directed learners. Close Quote

Wonderful school. The staff is helpful and kind to all the students and makes sure that every student has a good education. The environment great as well. I've been at this school since day one and I absolutely love seeing it grow from 100 students to 400. I love the middle school program because you have so much independence compared to a non-montessori school. The teachers in the middle school are all around fun, help full, and get you to where you need to be. The middle school students also get to travel in America once every year, which is pretty exciting in my opinion. Last year they went to Chicago and now we're going to Washington D.C. I just love this school. :) Close Quote

Absolutely horrible school. They take no responsibility for their actions or for their lack of supervision of students. They have cause my family and I alot of trouble because they wouldn't look at the POOR management of the school! Terrible staff, an awful experience! Glad we are GONE! Close Quote
