I did not know that Montessori was more than just a pre-school until I came to Butler. Both of my boys flourished here. My older son found school to be very easy and that meant he was bored and restless in a traditional setting. Montessori allows children to work at their own pace, so he was able to stay interested and work ahead academically and still socially be with his peers. My younger son struggled academically, so he was also able to work at a slower pace until he got it and still not feel he was being left behind. Working with all of the different materials also brings a whole different level of understanding concepts to the table. I strongly recommend this philosophy of education, it is truly learning for life! Close Quote
