Open Quote Our daughter will be attending her second year this coming school year. It has been a wonderful experience for her and our family. We have been amazed at the depth of care and commitment that the Faculty and Leadership provides to Riverview Students. Not only are they preparing our daughter for her future but have helped my wife and I tremendously in providing support for planning for life after Riverview. The 60 years of success truly shines. We are extremely pleased and are grateful to have found such a perfect place for daughter and family. Close Quote

Open Quote My son was treated well for seven years. In his final year at GROW the staff handled a problem negligently. Neither I nor his therapist were notified. I had no idea the problem was taken seriously until he was told to leave. While he was there the student to staff ratio increased and a broader range of abilities admitted at both ends of the range of ability. With my child near the middle this was very disturbing. There is little to no character instruction. The experiential learning program offers little in the way of academic encouragement, the expectations are very very low. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
