Within Brockton, Louis F Angelo Elementary ranks at the 31st percentile with 27.1% ELA and 31.55% math, and Manthala George Junior School outperforms Hancock in all three subjects despite a higher student–teacher ratio and lower per-pupil spending. Dr W Arnone Community School (3rd percentile) and Oscar F Raymond (3rd) are the only listed schools ranked near Hancock. Out of district, Richardson Olmsted School in Easton ranks at the 69th percentile and South Elementary in Stoughton at the 59th. One encouraging note: Hancock's English Language Learner subgroup ranks at the 46th percentile with 2 stars, well above the school overall and a sharp improvement from prior years, while special education and low-income subgroups remain in the bottom 4th–10th percentile.
