Where your child lands in the grade range matters enormously here. In Grade 10, the school beats the state in every subject tested — ELA by 26 points, science by 28 points, math by about 10, and biology by 18. Grade 8 also finishes above the state in all four areas, including ELA and math roughly 10–11 points ahead. The ELA gap to the state has widened every year for four years, from about 4.65 points to 9.84 points, and science shows a similar drift, while math has held steady in a narrow band and improved in 2025-26. Biology remains a consistent strength, running roughly 13–30 points above state in recent years. A 9.5% one-year rise in per-student spending ($15,397 to $16,854 in 2020-21) did not line up with immediate score gains. One caveat: free/reduced-lunch figures are missing for all reported years, and no nearby school data exists, so it isn't possible to know how the school's student population compares with Worcester peers. Staffing looks favorable, at 11.3 students per teacher.
